Wollaston-based education provider, Sttebs Education, is proud to announce that its Managing Director, Natalia Betts, has been nominated for the prestigious Farming Hero Award at Farm Fest 2026.
The nomination recognises Natalia’s outstanding contribution to the future of animal care and agriculture through education, accessibility, and real-world impact. Under her leadership, Sttebs Education has developed a forward-thinking education centre that creates meaningful pathways into farming, animal care, and animal welfare.
Natalia’s approach goes beyond traditional classroom learning. She has established a hands-on, immersive framework where students gain practical experience, industry insight, and a clear understanding of career opportunities within the agricultural sector. Her work is particularly distinguished by a strong commitment to inclusivity, actively engaging individuals from a wide range of backgrounds - including those who may not have previously considered a future in farming.
By removing barriers to entry, and offering structured, supportive routes into land-based careers, Sttebs Education is helping to cultivate the next generation of skilled and passionate professionals. Central to this approach is a strong emphasis on animal welfare, ethical farming practices, and environmental stewardship, ensuring students develop both technical skills and a deep respect for the evolving demands of modern agriculture.
Natalia’s impact is already evident, with students gaining confidence, direction, and employable skills, while contributing to a stronger and more sustainable agricultural community.
Farm Fest 2026, a new three-day festival taking place at Stoneleigh Park from 22–24 May, celebrates British agriculture by bringing together farmers, food, music, and the wider public. The Farm Heroes initiative, delivered in partnership with RABI, highlights individuals making a meaningful difference across the industry.
Natalia’s nomination follows recognition from organisers, who described her work as “incredible” and praised her contribution to both farming and the local community.
Natalia Betts, Managing Director of Sttebs Education, said:"I’m incredibly honoured to be nominated for the Farming Hero Award. At Sttebs Education, we’re passionate about creating opportunities for people to discover a future in farming, regardless of their background.
“Seeing our students grow in confidence, develop real skills, and find their place within the agricultural community is what drives everything we do. This recognition is a reflection of the dedication of our whole team and the amazing individuals we support every day."

Nominees will be celebrated at Farm Fest 2026, where Natalia’s story will also be featured as part of the dedicated Farming Heroes showcase, inspiring visitors and highlighting the people shaping the future of British farming.
